Dan received his MSW from George Williams College of Aurora University and a PhD in Health Education from Southern Illinois University. Dan has been a counselor at Family Service Agency for over 16 years. He focuses on individual, couple and family counseling. Dan is also a divorce mediator and is the facilitator for Kids First, a divorce education class for parents. He is published in Journal of Sex Education and Therapy, Adolescence, Health Values: Achieving High Level Wellness, The Illinois Journal and The American Journal of Hospice Care. Dan is also Associate Professor of Health Education at Northern Illinois University. He teaches death education, sexuality education and personal health.
